Giveaway bei moments...

Liz Schaffner has a beautiful giveaway on her blog moments for her 50th birthday.

Potatoe bag


Today I made 4 of these potatoe-bags. I think it's a nice present in the BBQ-season... :-)

cut 1 piece of fabric for the outside,
cut 1 piece for the inside
and finally 1 piece of batting (thermolam)
all the same size: 10 1/2" X 22"

Pin the small sides of the rectangle..

on both small sides sew the three layers together...

turn it inside out....

iron the two seams...

turn one small side over (3")...

overlap the small piece with the long piece( 1/2"). Ok, it looks strange, but you have to turn the bag inside out!

close the two side seams........

with a narrow zig-zag stitch finish the two sides and turn the bag inside out

I made 4 of these bags in less than 2 hours, so it's a fast and easy project...

don't dry your potatoes, they need a little bit humidity....

My microwave is very old....the potatoes need 10 minutes (600W),
you have to try it, I think some microwaves only need 5-7 minutes...
